The most commonly used abrasive, especially used for heavy duty grinding on general steels. Made using brown aluminum oxide, it is hard and tough.
Available with a standard bore size of 25mm (1") in the following sizes:
150 x 19 (6 x 3/4"), 150 x 25 (6 x 1"), 205 x 19 (8 x 3/4"), 205 x 25 (8 x 1"), 255 x 19 (10 x 3/4"), 255 x 25 (10 x 1"),
Available in the following grits: A36, A46, and A60
Adapter available for reducing bore size to 19 (3/4"), 16 (5/8"), and 13 (1/2")
For Carbide Materials
For Carbide Materials
Suitable for non-ferrous metals, rubber, plastics, glass, and cast iron. It is also used to grind solid carbide materials. Made using green silicon carbide, it is harder and more friable than black silicon carbide.
Available with a standard bore size of 25mm (1") in the following sizes:
150 x 19 (6 x 3/4"), 150 x 25 (6 x 1"), 205 x 19 (8 x 3/4"), 205 x 25 (8 x 1"), 255 x 19 (10 x 3/4"), 255 x 25 (10 x 1").
Available in the following grits: GC60, GC80, GC100, and GC120
